Pass the tools on.
Mentors and FIRST alumni help students learn a craft, solve a problem, and make their own decisions.

Help a student become more capable.
Mentoring is an opportunity to guide how a student approaches a problem: ask a useful question, explain a tradeoff, demonstrate a skill, and help them reflect on an attempt. Parents, alumni, and community members can contribute across technical and nontechnical work. You do not need an FRC background.
