You do not have to know how yet.
Bring an interest, a question, or a willingness to try. Pacific Steel gives students a place to learn with others and practice skills they can use throughout life.
Start with an interest form.
You do not need to arrive knowing CAD, code, or how to use shop tools. Students contribute in engineering, scouting, outreach, and operations. Use the form to introduce yourself and ask about current eligibility, meeting times, and the season.
Open the student interest formOpens the team's Google Form in a new tab.

Before you decide
What if I have never built anything?
That is a starting point. Ask questions, learn the tools, and practice with other people. The program includes work beyond building the robot, too.
What if I do not want to be an engineer?
You can practice explaining ideas, organizing work, using evidence, and following through on a commitment. Those habits are useful in many fields. Scouting, outreach, and operations are also part of the team.
How do I find out about schedules and eligibility?
Use the interest form or email robotics@cathedralcatholic.org. Ask about meeting times, expectations during build season, competition travel, and who can join.
